The quiet country home life of a freelance writer and his wife is unexpectedly upset by the arrival of a stranger who proffers an exclusive story about a murder that has not happened yet. The Sky Farm Equestrian Club 4-H presents "War Horse": A young man enlists to serve in World War I after his beloved horse is sold to the cavalry. His hopeful journey takes him out of England to the front lines as the war rages on. Nominated for 6 Oscars. Suggested donation $5. Popcorn and water will be available.

We’re participating in the 2018 Copake Light Parade - a “unique to Copake” tradition! Come to the Firehouse on Center Hill Road at 5:00 PM and join your fellow Grange Members as we ride our festively decorated Grange truck, or stroll behind it. Caroling not required. To celebrate and honor Veteran's Day, join us for this 1945 war film, based on a novel by Harry Brown, a writer for Yank, The Army Weekly, and directed by Lewis Milestone. In 2016, A Walk in the Sun was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress, and selected for preservation in its National Film Registry. Suggested donation $5.
A chance to voice your vision and concerns for Taghkanic Creek and its watershed. The Nature Conservancy invites you to come play a fun collaborative water themed board game, eat snacks, and talk about the future of Taghkanic Creek and the role of water in our community.

Join author and Grange historian, Howard Blue, for a presentation on two forgotten aspects of Copake’s history: ice harvesting and semi-pro baseball. The program will feature rare home movie footage including clips of West Copake’s former Camp Ferosdel; the camp's founders, in a horse-drawn sleigh; and hay harvesting in the 1940s, among others.
