In honor of Earth Day, the Copake Conservation Advisory Committee and Copake Grange present a special movie screening: “The Little Things that Run the World”. (See the trailer here.) The smallest of creatures – insects – hold the fabric of all life together. But insects are declining at an alarming rate throughout the world, threatening ecosystems with collapse. The movie tries to untangle the mysteries as to why something so ubiquitous could be on the cusp of disappearing entirely. Special guest John Jasmin of Bash Bish Honey in Copake Falls will demo a live beehive & bring honey for purchase. Runtime: 105 minutes. This event is Free.
